Location |
North-East of the Tower |
The Craftsman is the NPC responsible for the various activities of crafting in Survived By.
Each craft or action takes a certain amount of time, and a craftsman can only carry one action out at any time. However, up to three aditionnal craftsmen can be unlocked with Electrum at the empty craftsman stations near the first craftsman. You will need 250, 600 and 1300 Electrum to unlock the three craftsmen, for a total of 2150.
Crafting
Crafting consumes Silver and Materials to create new Weapons, Equipment or Tier 2 and Tier 3 Materials. Each craft takes a certain amount of time that can be reduced by some Relics.
Crafting a tier 2 and up Weapon, Armor or Boots consumes one Catalyst of the corresponding tier.
At the beginning of the game, only the Tier 2 Materials and the first tier of Equipment and Weapons are available. Each tier, up to the tenth tier can be unlock either with Silver or the corresponding Tome.

Crafting contains a random component in the form of Prefixes for Weapons, Suffixes for both Weapons and Equipment and Charm slots for tier 6 and up Weapons and Equipment.
Dismantling

The process costs some Silver and takes one minute for a first tier
Rerolling
Rerolling is the action of changing randomly the Prefix or the Suffix of a Weapon or an Equipment.
The process costs some Silver and takes some time, corresponding to the tier of the item.
Note that you cannot reroll the Prefix or the Suffix of an item if this item doesn't already have one.
Socketing items
Socketing is the action of putting Charms in the sockets of an item.
Note that only tier 6 and up items can have sockets, and that the sum of the Charms levels cannot exceed the level of the item.
